Now this is my kind of schlock! Directed by Peter Manoogian (Eliminators), 1989’s Arena is a low-budget, high-effort production seriously committed to its silly-ass premise of a dude punching rubber monsters in the face. My latest “Tubi: Trash-or-Treasure?” movie, randomly picked from Tubi’s recommendations. I was happily surprised to be greeted by the logo for 1980s schlockmeisters Cannon Films when I hit play on this one.
